Context
Bracke Forest has been manufacturing forestry equipment and machines since 1922, leading the world market for machines and equipment for forest regeneration. The Bracke Planters began development in 1991, with the introduction of the first mechanized planter. Since then, Bracke Forest has been developing new planters and features to suit the worldwide requests for forest plantations. The Bracke planter P12.b performs the entire planting cycle, starting with subsoiling, then planting, compressing, watering, and fertilizing the seedling with a single button press by the operator. In flatter areas, the Bracke P22.b can plant two seedlings per time in a pre-subsoiled planting row. The double planter machine enables the operation to achieve slopes of up to 19°, in accordance with safety rules for planting operations.
Introducing the Bracke P24.a
This year, Bracke Forest decided to invest in a new scenario for the planter machines. In regions where the forestry sector relies on small areas, excavator-based machines are not always the best choice for transport and logistics. Considering this matter, Bracke developed the P24.a. The Bracke P24.a is a double-headed planter, suitable for planting in both flat areas and sloping terrain. It is a fully mechanized planter that performs all the planting steps, working in previously subsoiled areas, to establish the new forest. The P24.a is a robust machine that allows working in establishment areas as well as in reforestation. Bracke P24.a is mounted on a tractor for fast and convenient transportation between planting areas.

How is it configured?
The base of the P24.a planter is specially designed for perfect planting. The seedling is placed in the soil and then fixed with a gentle compressing foot. If the P24.a is equipped with fertilizer options, the granulated fertilizer is applied during planting. Each plant magazine holds 196 seedlings for a total of 392 seedlings. It can handle various types of seedlings and can be refilled quickly with the quick-refill boxes. The base of the P24.a planter is specially designed for perfect planting.
